Description

The Air-O-Cell is an air sampling cassette specifically designed for the rapid collection of airborne mold spores, pollen, insect parts, skin cell fragments, fibers and inorganic particulate. The Air-O-Cell collects both viable and non-viable sample specimens, providing a much broader overview of potential allergens and contaminants than conventional sampling techniques. Laboratory analysis of the sample provides data of the type and concentration of fungal spores and particulate in the air. Air-O-Cell can be used during routine inspections and investigations to determine if there are abnormally high concentrations of any specific fungal spores and other particulates.

1. Air-O-Cell uses slit impaction as the method of collection.
2. The cassette is compact and sturdy and can be easily transported to a laboratory for analysis.
3. Analysis of Air-O-Cell samples is done by direct microscopy techniques and results are available as short as few hours.
4. Air-O-Cell can be used with any standard off-the-shelf area sampling pump capable of drawing 15 LPM open flow.
